Privacy notice (draft)
Last updated: 2026-09-29 (draft). This outline records the privacy commitments in the Deebak Constitution so counsel can turn them into a binding notice before any real-money launch.
1. Who we are
Deebak is a verified field-data and micro-work platform being prepared for a pilot in Ramallah. The operating company's legal name and registered address will be added here once registered. Contact: hello@getdeebak.com.
2. Waitlist form (today)
- We collect: whether you join as a doer, business or shop; your name; a mobile number or email; optionally an organisation or shop name and your area in Ramallah.
- We use it only to contact you about the Deebak pilot. We do not sell it or share it for advertising.
- Retention: until the pilot opens and you have had the chance to sign up, then deleted. Exact period: to be set by counsel.
- You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry at any time by emailing us.
3. Deebak apps (at pilot — planned)
- Account: your phone number, language, and device information used to secure your account.
- Identity verification (before your first cash-out or higher-value tasks): national ID photo and a selfie check. These images are never shown to businesses and are deleted 30 days after the verification decision; we keep only the decision and a protected (hashed) reference to the ID number to stop duplicate accounts.
- Task evidence: photos, form answers, location samples and timing captured during a task. Evidence for a task is shared with the business that funded it.
- Wallet: balances and a record of every transaction, kept as financial rules require.
- We never collect your contacts or the list of apps installed on your phone. We never sell doer data.
4. Where data is stored
Deebak stores its data in the European Union. Requests are served through Cloudflare's global network, so a request may be handled at the Cloudflare location nearest to you on its way to our EU systems.
5. Automated assistance
Rules and a risk score decide which submissions need a closer look. Software, including AI, may help reviewers (for example by flagging a blurry photo), but a person makes every decision about money, identity verification, account access and bans. You can appeal decisions.
6. Your rights
Access, correction, deletion (subject to legal retention for financial records), objection and appeal. The exact rights, legal bases and response times will be set by counsel for Palestinian law and any other applicable law.
